“Breakfast on Christmas morning”
I created a photo series titled “Breakfast on Christmas morning.” The goal of this collection is to document an intimate, seasonal moment using the principles of lifestyle and event photography. I staged a warm December breakfast scene using holiday elements such as red candles, decorated mugs, fresh fruits, toast, berries, and Christmas-themed decorations. Although the setup is intentionally styled, the goal was to evoke authenticity, capturing the feeling of a cozy morning celebration through composition, color, and natural light.
About the work
I focused on telling a cohesive visual story: the quiet ritual of preparing and enjoying a festive breakfast that
symbolizes warmth, tradition, and the joy of simple moments. Each photograph was individually edited to
emphasize reds, deepen contrast, and highlight textures, bringing out the emotional tone of December
celebrations.
Inviting the viewer to sit down. It conveys stillness, anticipation, and the quiet beauty of shared rituals.
